Took a crap load of clothes to the re-sale shop and left with $12.25 and a good portion of the clothes back. I hate re-sale shops, they make you feel so bad about yourself! I know some of the stuff was old and worn out, but the majority of it were impulse purchases because they were on the 75% clearance rack and I never even wore them. I also had several pair of jeans that they didn't want. And not Lee "mom jeans", nice Express and Gap jeans.....that were in good shape. Why don't they want those? I guess the Buffalo Exchange only wants True Religion? Don't we all?
Then I headed to the Pharmacy.
Next I ventured to the new "Gucci" Wal-Mart super store out on 620. I needed to leave crumbs to find my way back. Let me tell you what a fabulous experience I had there. It's so SO big and bright and open, but most importantly CLEAN. The last time I was in Rockwall, I swore I would never go back to Super Wal-Mart, it was disgusting and I had to step over a dirty diaper in the parking lot! That is the gawdshonest truth! But this one was fab-o! If you are anywhere close to Austin, it's worth the drive!
Then I went and got my nails done. Pretty uneventful!
I filled up my car with gas and got one of those cheap drive through car washes. OF COURSE it rained less 24 hours later! I should have done that a long time ago....our little dry earth needed the rain.
Saturday night I babysat. He is a darling little 2 year old, that ASKED to go to bed at 7:20pm. Pretty easy money, don't you think?
Sunday I met T~ at the movies and we saw Music and Lyrics. It was cute. Love me some Hugh Grant. Uuuummm. It was very predictable, but worth the matinee price! Then we went and had lunch...greasy burgers and fries.
Once I got home I took a short nap and then got real productive around the house: dusted, cleaned the glass, hung up a bunch of clothes, put away the rest of the laundry, emptied the dishwasher, bagged up the trash and then made yummy lasagna casserole (Rachael Ray's) for dinner.
Hope yall had great weekends too!
