That "feeling"

Isn't it weird how a certain voice, song, phrase, saying, sound or even a smell can take you back to a specific situation or place?

I was telling Les the other day that the smell of my tinted self tanner lotion that I only apply after I shave my legs reminds me of the summer we lived together. And every time I use it I think of her and the fun we had. Actually we only lived together a little over two months....but it is memories I will cherish the rest of my life.

It's funny that in that moment you are just having fun, or being sad, or soaking up whatever emotion it is.....and we forget to remember and be thankful in that moment. It's a shame that it takes certain songs, smell, movie quotes, to remind us to be thankful for all the fun and all the memories.

I want to take this moment to thank all those people in my life that have made a lasting impression. FOREVER!
