I had the pleasure of making the holiday bird this year. Here is what I did.
I made an herb butter, in the food processor. I added two sticks of butter, a handful of parsley & rosemary, grated onion and garlic. Salt & pepper.
I filled the cavity of the turkey with onion, apple, lemon, garlic, rosemary, parsley, salt & pepper
then slathered the bird with the herb butter
