Keep mirrors clean: Rub shaving cream on your bathroom mirror (and then wipe it off) while cleaning to prevent it from fogging up after every shower.

Get rid of bugs: The next time you slice a cucumber, save the peels and put them in ant routes outside to keep the bugs from entering the house.

Prevent kitchen burns: Add a pinch of salt to your frying pan before you cook. That way the oil won't splatter.

Pick up broken glass: Use a thick piece of bread to safely gather and dispose of pieces of shattered mirror, plate or vase.
